Apple Pizza Recipe | |
| One year, seeking some variety for the Apple Pie Bake-Off, I made an Apple Pizza, which we all enjoyed. | ||

A word of caution, however: be sure to build up the edge crust, and/or place a cookie sheet underneath. My first one dripped all over my brand new oven and set off the smoke detector! Dough for
9” pie crust Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Peel, core, and slice apples and place in a bowl with melted butter, sugar, and flour. Place pie crust dough on a sheet of waxed paper or parchment paper. Roll it into a round pizza-size shape. Transfer to a large baking sheet. Spread the jam evenly over the crust. Fold over the edges of the dough to make a pizza-like rim. Arrange the apples in concentric circles on the jam. Bake about 30-35 minutes. Crust should be golden brown and the apples tender. Cut into slices like pizza and serve warm. Tips
from Jane — You could also spice it up by sprinkling chopped walnuts or pecans among the apple slices.
