This is a select group of my best pie recipes.

I don’t know about you, but I find it overwhelming to go to a web site and find there are 1500 recipes or more.

I don’t want to have to sift through them all to find a good one, so I’ve done the sifting for you: these are all great pies, and all you have to do is choose the ones that appeal to you.

And don't be afraid to make your own pie crust. It's easy! Four ingredients, four minutes. Here's a video.

Each recipe tells you a little bit about the pie, and then provides a specific ingredient list and step-by-step instructions. At the end of each recipe I’ve included some Tips from Jane, comments on ingredients or process based on my experience with the pie. Also, here are some all-time great Pie-Baking Tips.
